Sneak Peek #3: New Defense Bomb Tower!
Clashers, new defense is on the way and it's big and will change the gameplay on a HUGE way!
Yes, that's the Bomb Tower from Clash Royale arriving on Clash of Clans! Let's take a closer look:
This new defense will be unlocked on Town Hall 8 and on this Town Hall can be upgraded to level 2. The radius is not that big, but the fire rate it's much faster than a mortar, so it will be great against mass troops. It targets only ground troops and makes splash damage.
Upon destruction, the Skeleton will leave a final gift: a huge bomb that will make great splash damage. We still don't have the stats, but the damage should be similar to a Giant Bomb.
You can upgrade the Bomb Tower to level 3.
You will be able to build a second Tower Bomb and upgrade to level 4.
Finally gets the maxed level 5 Bomb Tower.
Not sure if we can say farewell to mass troop attacks, but Clashers that follow me on Twitter know how much I hate the super lame mass miner attack on Town Hall 11 and maxed villages. So yes, I'm happy to see a new defense that will make mass troop attacks harder.
The YouTuber Clash With Ash tested what every high level player wanted to know: can Miners beat the Bomb Tower? If you don't like miners, the answer is not that good. They can beat a maxed Bomb Tower!
The good news is that the bomb "gift" on the end explodes really fast and the miners don't have enough time to go underground to protect themselves. They will take massive damage and lose over 50% of live.
You think that's it? No, this is the big surprise that will make many Clashers celebrate: Giant Bombs will no longer give 1.5x damage on Hogs! The Hogs are back on the game! Yes, the Bomb Tower will be a big challenge to hogs, but it's something you can predict and prepare your attack to destroy, not something hidden and mortal as the Giant Bombs.
And at last, the super loved Witch is getting a big buff! Hitpoints will be massively increased while damage will be slight reduced. Witches are back to the game? I hope so!
